Do I need to install software to use the Innex Cube's AI features?
No. All AI features — including auto-tracking, Gallery mode, and video mode switching — are built into the Cube and controlled entirely with the included remote control. Software (Innex Studio) is only needed if you want to update the firmware.
How many people can the Innex Cube track at once?
The Cube can auto-track up to 8 people simultaneously, giving each person a dedicated close-up shot in Gallery mode. If two participants sit very close together, the Cube may merge them into one frame for a better result.
Does the Innex Cube have a built-in speaker?
No. The Cube has dual omnidirectional microphones for voice pickup (up to 3m/10ft), but audio playback comes from your computer, display, or an external speaker. If you want an all-in-one camera with built-in speakers, consider the Innex Omni instead.
How is the Innex Cube powered? Do I need a power adapter?
No power adapter needed — the Cube is powered entirely through a single USB 3.0 connection to your computer. Note that it requires a USB 3.0 port (not USB 2.0), as it needs more than 500mA to operate. If you need a longer cable run, use an active USB 3.0 cable (up to 10m/32ft).
Can people passing by the meeting room door interfere with the AI tracking?
No — the Cube's Ignore Zone feature lets you block specific areas (like a glass door or hallway) from AI detection using the remote control. You can also use "Track Once" to lock framing after everyone is seated.
Can I mount the Innex Cube on a tripod?
Yes. The Cube has a standard 1/4" tripod screw hole compatible with any standard tripod. It also comes with a wooden base and three detachable poles for flexible table-top height adjustment.
